We flew to L.A. on November 24th so we could spend a few days with Tyler and Kristen and not have to deal with flying on the day before Thanksgiving. Plus the price of the airline tickets were three times as much that day. We got there at bedtime and Tyler and Kristen were kind enough to let us crash in their bed and on their floor. Thanks so much for such a great Christmas present guys.
On Tuesday, we decided to have a Thanksgiving dinner together. Kristen did almost all of the cooking. Thanks Kristen, sorry I wasn't more help. You are so amazing. Dallin and I took Tyler to sushi for lunch which is quite ironic since Tyler hates fish. He ordered tempura and watched us eat sushi. Towards the end of the meal he said that the sushi roll I had ordered looked really good and he would like to try it. He got up the nerve and had one. He loved it and had a second one. Way to go Tyler. We were so proud of him for trying something new.
That night we had a great dinner and Tyler and Kristen's friends Rod and Wendy came over to enjoy it with us. They brought a really yummy corn dish and green beans. The dinner was so great and of course we all ate too much. We played rock band and just had a great time hanging out with everyone. Thanks again guys for having us and cooking such a great meal for us.
