The fun on Maui

Of all the islands we visited, I think I liked Maui the best. When we go back I would either like to stay on Maui or Kaua'i. They are both so relaxing and beautiful. So for my family that is reading this, that is my vote for the trip.
Thanks to my wonderful parents we were able to get off the ship via tender boat in the morning and go on a submarine ride. Kalea wasn't allowed to go because she isn't 3 feet tall. She stayed back on the ship with my parents. The rest of us walked off the ship and only had to walk a small bit to get to the submarine. We rode on a boat out to where the submarine goes down. They can't have it pick you up at the port because it travels so slow. We got to see the submarine come up out of the water. We saw a lot of fish, an eagle spotted ray (which is a type of sting ray), shark, when even got to see big fish eating smaller fish. The guy who took us on the tour was funny and we had a good time listening to his narration. It was weird to go down 130+ feet in the ocean and not feel like you are down that far. We all felt very safe. The fish would swim so close that you felt like you could reach out and touch them. It was a really neat experience and we are all glad we did it.
We went back to the cruise ship for lunch and then went out again to the beach. My parents passed us on the way back to the ship. They walked around the town a little but spent most of their time on the ship. Thanks again for watching Kalea. The sand at the beach was soft as silk. We all had it all over us and it didn't feel scratchy like most sand. The waves were big enough here to body surf which was a ton of fun. I wasn't very good at the timing but Dallin and Kiani caught some really good waves. There is a video at the bottom of when we first arrived at the beach and Kiani was trying to get used the waves. She had so much fun. She was laughing so much. Kalea stayed as far away from the water as she could. She loved the sand a lot though. Dalek didn't care for the big waves. They would knock him down and that scared him so he played in the sand with Kalea. Dallin and I took turns playing in the water with Kiani. I haven't had that much fun in water in a long time. It was hard to get back on the ship knowing it was our last day in Hawaii.
