Kalea's 2nd Birthday

Kalea turned two on April 25. She didn't get the whole idea of what a birthday meant. When we would sing Happy Birthday to her she would tell us, "No, don't sing." We took her to Lagoon for her birthday but I forgot the camera.
The next day we had a family and friends party at our house. She received some fun gifts and I really appreciate everyone who came. At the party, she started to get the idea of what a birthday was. Her poor nose wouldn't stop running because of her allergies but she didn't seem to mind.

Kalea loves her swing. Grandpa and baby Almaya (Misty's cute baby)

I made her a little Elmo cake that was just his face and cupcakes for everyone else that looked like Elmo. She was so excited to see Elmo and kept saying over and over that it was Elmo. She was scared of the candles and Kiani ended up blowing them out for her. She started out tasting a little of the candy on top of Elmo and licking the frosting but then dug into the middle of his face. After she ate a little she looked at the cake again and said, "Oh no, Elmo, oh no." She was so sad. She had eaten Elmo. She wouldn't eat anymore cake after that.
She had so much fun opening presents.

So fun! Looks like a great birthday. It is hard to believe that the girls at 2. Maycie will be 23 on the 30th.
