Dallin is also able to spend time down the road at his sister Amy's house. They have a big party with her husbands side of the family at their house. We played a few new games together, Canadian salad was one of them. We had 12 people playing it and it was a blast. My sister Kris and her family were able to come down again this year from Oregon so we were only missing one family. There were at least parts of all the other families there. Even with some missing we had around 30 people there. Annette had started remodeling on her house so it was bit of a construction zone but my family is used to it since their are so many contractors in the family.
My niece Emily was able to do her science experiment for her science fair project on all of us. She did a smell test to see whether adults or children had a better sense of smell. My dad fell asleep on the couch and everyone decided it would be great to get his picture. He woke up with all the clicks of the camera and said he wasn't sleeping, he was just resting his eyes. We all had a good laugh since that is what he would always say when he fell asleep in church.
Some of the boys got in the hot tub and decided to jump in the snow to cool off. I thought they were crazy because they went so far from the hot tub to get in the snow. Makes me cold just looking at the picture. 
Most of us got to bed just after midnight but there were some diehards who stayed up most of the night. Dallin of course being one of them. The next morning, the house was in demolition mode. They had to rip out the kitchen cabinets and trim so that the remodeling could start on Monday and they needed to do it while Steve was home. So it was fun to see the guys hard at work destroying things. We were able to take my sister Kris and her daughter Tesla shopping for clothes before heading back home. Thanks Annette and Steve for hosting us once again.
