Christmas Eve 2008

Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the holiday season. The house is really peaceful, the kids are so excited, and their is a nice warm fire going in the fireplace. On Christmas Eve the kids get to open two gifts. One, they always know, which is pajamas but the other gift is always a surprise. Most of the time it is something soft they can snuggle. This year they each got a Webkinz. Kalea's is a duck. Dalek's is a frog and Kiani's is a horse. Kiani really wanted us all to have matching pajamas but I didn't get around to sewing them and I couldn't even find ones for her and Kalea that matched. Dalek loved his Kung Fu Panda Pajamas and Kiani was really happy to have a new cozy robe. She had outgrown her princess one in more ways then one. The kids decided to leave Santa, hot chocolate and a carameled apple. Every year they like to leave him something different then just the regular cookies and milk. They were really good about going to bed so that Santa could come. Dallin told them that if they weren't in bed by 9:30 that Santa might not be able to stop at our house.
I love this picture of Kalea dancing next to Santa. The kids were really good about helping Kalea understand how to open her presents and not just unwrapping them for her.

Oh my gosh cute! Love the jammies. Abee got those same ones as Kalea from her grandma. Love Kalea's little piggy tails.
