When the pool first opened, it was still cold even though it was Memorial Day Weekend. I let the two older kids get in the pool a couple days before this but this was Kalea's first day to get in. She didn't care too much for the water. She preferred being out of the pool and playing with all the toys that the kids had left on the sides. Dalek is getting a little braver but will still only put part of his head under water. He had a good time playing with his friend Stephanie.
Kiani tried to take Kalea in the big pool but it didn't last long because Kalea was scared of so much water. Kiani is a little fish and will swim all day long if we let her. She doesn't burn just tans beautifully. She is happiest when there is a bunch of people there to play games with. They play lots of games that I have never even heard of but they seem fun. We stayed 5 1/2 hours and the kids still weren't ready to leave (except Kalea who was ready several hours sooner).
