Dr. Suess Day

In the past, Kiani's school celebrated Dr. Suess Day by dressing up and reading his books. This year the kids didn't dress up but Kiani thought they were going to. His birthday this year fell on the weekend so the friday before his birthday Kiani wanted me to do her hair like a Who. When she got to school nobody was dressed up so she went to the bathroom and took out her hair. She learned that they weren't celebrating Dr. Suess Day until Monday so on Monday we did her hair again. The pictures are from the second attempt. Again when we arrived at school noone was dressed up. This time though we decided to take her hair out in the car and just put it in a pony tail. She didn't want to be embarrassed. I am not sure why they didn't dress up this year. I know that most of the kids love it and look forward to it. Kiani was pretty bummed that they didn't. The hair was fun to do though.

I love the hair. Your kids are so lucky that you know how to do hair.
