Every year Dallin's family has a Muir family reunion over the 4th of July. The night of the 3rd we did a fun talent show. I don't have any pictures of the talent show on my computer though. Dallin videoed and so we didn't take any still pictures since I was in it. I played the piano for Megumi and Kiani to sing, and Dalek sang "It's a Grand Old Flag" without any accompaniment. The girls of course sounded beautiful and I didn't mess up too bad on the piano. Dalek was very brave and excited to sing all by himself. He sang loud and remembered every word. At the end, in typical Dalek fashion, punched the air and said, "Yeah, me! Yeah, me!" It was really great to watch the creativeness of the families as they came up with some really fun things to do for the talen show. I will always remember the sychronyized men swim team. I laughed so hard that night and was so proud of all the little ones for getting in front of everyone and performing.
The next day we spent the morning at our neighborhood celebration and parade. They had a little parade and then lunch in the park which was delicious. Kiani stayed the night at Aunt Janice's house with a bunch of the cousins and had a blast. It was her first year to be able to stay up there by herself. The next morning she got to ride on her cousins float in the parade and shoot people with a water gun. She had a blast and if we had known that she was going to be in it we would have gone to that parade instead.

That evening we had dinner in the park with almost all of Grandpa Max's family.

We always have a ton of fun playing different games and eating way too much food. Unfortunately, Dalek started getting sick when we got there and didn't want to do anything but sleep until we got some food and medicine in him. Thanks Andersens for letting him sleep in the motorhome. He was feeling well enough after the medicine kicked in that we decided to stay for the fireworks. We couldn't find the rest of the family at the ballpark so we just watched them as a family and then went home.

Another year of fun family times again. Thanks everyone for the good memories.
