A few weeks later Kiani wanted to show her friends the eggs. Suddenly I hear lots of excited squealing. They had found baby birds in the nest. It was so fun over the next week to watch them grow. They grew so quickly. They went from not being able to hardly hold their heads up and not having any feathers to being so big that they could hardly fit all three of them in the nest.

I loved that my kids got to see nature so easily. The Mom and Dad were very good at being protective of them. They didn't like us to get close to the window so we stayed back as far as we could and still see them. It was so great to see them get feed. They have huge mouths for such tiny creatures. After about 9 days of watching them we knew that they were getting close to flying away. We went to Las Vegas for our anniversary and when we got back they were gone. It was sad to for us to have missed them learning to fly and we hope that they will be back next year to create some more cute birds for us to watch.
